Friends 4 Recovery Whole Health Center (F4R hereafter) is committed completely to the health and wellness of their peers (a.k.a. clients) physically, mentally, and emotionally. We are not a medical center and do not provide any medical-related services of any kind. We do, however, share information with our peers as disseminated by National, State, and Local health authorities.

F4R closes in accordance with Chesterfield County for holidays, as well as circumstances such as a health crisis. In addition, F4R monitors and abides by State and Federal regulations and recommendations in the event of a health crisis. As the COVID-19 pandemic is now considered a ‘National Emergency’, the Leadership of F4R (Board of Directors and Executive Director) think it is in the best interests of our peers to close for the coming week of:

  • March 16, 2020

  • March 18, 2020

  • March 20, 2020

F4R leadership will convene and examine the latest health information and recommendations and release a statement discussing further action in response to COVA-19 on Friday, March 20, 2020.

As an organization that aims to support the community with their mental health and substance abuse needs, we understand that this closure disrupts our normal schedule of classes. Please know that we did not make this decision lightly and that all options were explored prior to closing F4R. While our utmost concern is for the safety and well-being of the community at large, we remain steadfast in our mission to provide support to the F4R community. If any of our clients, peers, or members need support during this time, please do not hesitate to reach out. We will still be reachable via our Facebook page (Friends 4 Recovery Chesterfield) and through email (admin@friends4recovery.org or chris@friends4recovery.org) and at 804-308-1366.

As we are also in the process of switching over to our new website and Facebook page, please share this message with any members who may benefit from this information. Make sure to “like” the new Facebook page to stay up-to-date with the most recent developments. Our new website can be found at Friends4RecoveryChesterfield.org.

In order to keep everyone safe, Friends 4 Recovery will be closed Friday the 13th, 2020. We will be talking about our plan for next week among the leadership and we will make an announcement on our Facebook page by Sunday. We look forward to seeing you all soon. Please take care of yourselves. For information about staying safe please see CDC.gov

Hello all!

As always, please feel free to PM, call, or email for support!
